BathMTB: ride report

Quick report today, given the horrible morning it was a good turn out with Dave, Kevin, Justin, Rich, Abi and Paul. Main idea of the evening was to get to Pipehouse and back without getting too muddy.
 
Main events of the evening:
Crashed coach at Monkton Coomb (Dave has the photo's)
Lots of climbing
Many BIG nettles
Some mud
Paul's chain kept jumping off
Pipe house already has big gullies washed out of it
Rich's gears were playing up
Abi ripped out a 4 inch part of her tyre sidewall - we had to leave her to be collected.
Only Rich cleared the steps
Crazy old woman pulled out on Kev and Justin, both of whom were going about 30Mph at the time
It rained REALLY badly for the last mile.
