[VC Walcot] Club and Membership Update

Hello All, I'm hijacking the club email circular in order to hand the hat round.

A few weeks ago I asked if anybody would be up for sponsoring me
cycling 300 miles to Amsterdam for Scope. I got a few takers, but
decided against as the wanted about £800 up front and it was all a bit
"fly our helicopters round and round London all day and raise £10 for
Charidee". Plus, lets face it, 300 miles followed by a weekend in
Hamster Jam would have probably been the death of me. I wouldn't have
minded that, but I've got kids to think about.

Anyway - I'm doing this instead - It's a way of cycling 300 miles with
out actually leaving S**tkicker Land and with absolutely no glamour or
enjoyment attached at all.

If any of you feels at all moved by this you can donate on my just giving page:-

I'm collecting for Scope,

Anything you give will be gratefully accepted.

I am also offering the incredible opportunity to sponsor a specific
part of the bike, or me. Simply bung in over a fiver and name your
part, and I will dymo print a label with your name on and stick it on
it. You get a commemorative photo, (or something, I haven't worked
that bit out yet)

Here is the route

Ignore the thumbnail, its got sod all to do with the Dolomites, or,
for that matter, any other type of Triumph .

Thank you all in advance

Russell
