Hi All,
A brief listing of the discussion topics and resulting notes from last night's meeting. Seven attended; Laurie Chalk, Jason Bhandari, Jon Arnold, Pete Gidding, Daniel Lunnon, Michael Young and Paul Robson.
FinancesClub in good health financially as stated at the AGM. A more appropriate review will be provided later in the year after memberships, club kit shortfall and Bath Cycle Races have been calculated fully. 
WebsiteNeeds revision and updating. Discussion with Jason B whether the website in it's current state represents the club properly. Other mediums may suit the inclusive feel that the club likes to generate. Action: Laurie to work with Jason to see how a blogspot type of representation could benefit the club. Concerns about the current lack of control over our web presence. Unclear who owns the domain www.vc-walcot.com and how long the current hosting arrangements can last with John Stevenson less involved with the club. Action: Laurie to contact John S to discuss options.
Club KitAll but one person has paid for their kit. Kit order has already gone into production so the expected delivery date of end of April is still valid. Due to two very late order cancellations there will be a shortfall in the current order which the club will have to cover. No costs will be passed on to those who have ordered and paid. Laurie is already working with Kalas to minimise the losses. Usual discussion about ordering to stock but unfortunately their isn't enough steady demand to warrant the club paying out for kit in advance
Sunday Group RidesStill in good health and generally the new members present were happy with the way they'd been supported on the rides. There was a special mention of the weeks when none of the ride leaders are present and routes/tempo/organisation becomes disjointed. This will only improve, however, once the membership grows and more people become familiar with how the Group Rides work. Jon and Laurie to keep monitoring how the rides progress. Michael Young expressed a wish to lead Group Rides and will be added to the weekly mailing list accordingly.There has been contact from Bath Amphibians about joining the Sunday rides. Action: Laurie will contact Bath Amphibians to assess the interest level.
Track DaysNothing planned for this year unless the demand warrants it. 
Bike BathJon and Laurie met Richard from Bike Bath at the recent Bath Cycle Races meeting. We will continue to work with Bike Bath on a number of levels as there are benefits to the club but nothing concrete to report yet. 
Bath Cycles RacesLots of planning going on currently but the events will take place every Weds evening in May. Main input from club members will be for marshalling support. Naturally, if people want to race then please do. More to follow......
Membership14 members paid up for 2012/13 so far; 7 new and 7 renewalsReminder to go out towards the end of the monthTarget for 2012/13 is 25 members
Jon Arnold will lead the ride on Sunday so expect his usual mix of Wiltshire lanes and steady pace. Might be rainy so come prepared if you're riding.
One final note, get your membership forms in and support the club.
