Morning All,

I thought I might try and hijack this comming weekend's club run for my own
benefits. The Chalk family (weather permitting) are off down to my
parents-in-law's caravan near Watchet on Sunday. I often ride the route solo
either Bath-Watchet or Watchet-Bath depending on needs and timing. This time
I fancy a little company so was planning to turn up at the Guildhall at
9-30am and see who wants to join me. The usual route for me is something
like Timsbury, Mendips, Wells, Glastonbury, Bridgewater and over the
Quantocks to Crowcombe. I try and stay in the lanes where possible, this
adds a little to the distance but means less traffic. All in it's about
60-ish miles so would make an awesome day ride for somebody with good legs
or a nice Sunday outing if you go just to Wells/Glastonbury and stop for a
quick re-fuel before returning to Bath.

Let me know if any of you are up for it and we'll put a little chain gang
together.

On a more fiscal note I have a number of bike parts for sale from a recent
shed clear out. Since buying my new road frame I've very little use for my
2006 54cm Roubaix Pro frame which has served me well over the past 4 years.
I also have a couple of pairs of wheels (Shimano WH-R601s (Ultegra) and
Mavic Kysrium Elites) which could be sold if someone wants them. There's
also a number of other bits and pieces if you're looking to build a good
winter trainer. See the pic of it all here; http://yfrog.com/h8v5emepj In
fact from the picture there's only brake calipers, handlebars and a rear
mech missing from a full bike set-up. Together it's all worth well in excess
of £500 but I'm open to offers. I've got my eyes on a nice new set of
wheels to compliment my Fixie Inc. Betty Leeds.

Cheers all.

Laurie.
