seem like a nice group! You sure that was them? ;-)

Email list cc'd above. I think you need to send an email to the ad with
'Subscribe' as the subject and it does the rest for you.

Browns Folly in the dark ;-) You'd be more than up to riding with the Weds
night lot :-)

Yep, lots of trails out there, just takes a bit of work linking them up,
some what we call 'cheeky' links we use including beyond Browns down to the
canal. We've pretty much explored everything over the years.

Cheers

Andy

Hi Andy,

Thank you very much for the extra information.

I actually bumped in to the group heading out this Wednesday on my way home
from work so had a quick chat- seem like a nice group!

I am reasonable on the climbs but descending unknown trails in the dark is a
new thing for me. I managed a ride I believe is called Browns Folley in the
dark and also explored some of the trails towards the racecourse so I am
starting to get a flavour of what is around. I was actually surprised how
fun the descents are around Bath and it always helps to ride with a
knowledgeable and friendly group.

I'm not on Facebook but if I could be included in an emailing list that
would be fantastic.

I hope whatever is keeping you off the bike heals up soon!

Many thanks, Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Just picked yours up. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

Yep, there's a group that rides every Weds from the 'island' over the bridge
over the river behind the station - at the end of Widcombe High Street. And
a Saturday 9am ride from Cadence in Weston on the first Sat of the month
too.

Weds nights are 6.20 meet for 6.30 getaway. We do about 30-40km. Ride for
about 3 hrs so you'll need lights. A fiver for a pub stop occasionally too
(at the end mostly). Pace is 'social' ie. don't hang around on the climbs
but on the understanding everyone is happy to wait and re-group at the top.

There's loads of great trails in the area.

Having said all that I'm currently off the bike - as you might have spotted
on my flickr stream I had a major 'off' at the end of March (not on a Weds
night!) and I'm still not able to ride.. I'm sure the others will make you
welcome tho.

There's an email list which I've copied in. I think you need to email
'Subscribe' to join. And a (private) Facebook group too if you're on there.

Hope to see you out sometime.

Cheers

Andy

Hi Paul and Andy,

I have just moved to Bath from Cardiff and am looking to explore the local
mountain bike trails. I have searched for group rides from Bath but didn't
find too much until I stumbled on some of Andy's flickr photos. May I join
you some time if there is a group ride? I am living near Bath Spa station if
this helps?

Many thanks, Daniel
