Plan is 8am at the trail head, so Bath people will need to be leaving home about 7.15. Back home 1pm'ish.

I will keep checking my email over the week end, I can carry 3 bikes on my car so maybe meet at my house.

No me tonight as usual (work is ridiculous & baby due next week)

I may though be able to get a pass for Sunday morning, Kev - is the idea 8am start and back home for lunch or what?

Good idea Kevin, thanks for being the first to get their act together ;-)

Tis’ a great route, weather looking fantastic...

Pity I can’t make it - Karina and Mary’s birthday’s on Sunday!

Not out tonight either as Mary is ‘performing’ at school..

First ride when the clocks go forward is traditionally Browns Folly, should be super dry and super fast. Looking forward to jealously reading the Ride Report tomorrow.

Talking of super dry and super fast.. I took the cross bike out on Sunday to go explore some new stuff ‘The Others’ had put me on to out Castle Combe Way. I forgot the ‘cross bike doesn’t have 100mm of travel and disc brakes, steep descent down to a stream crossing / ford… went straight over the bars, ended up led flat on my back, bike on top of me with freezing water running down my kneck! Even worse two ramblers heard my ‘wooaaaah’ as I went over and one of them came running over to see if I was all right laugh at me led there getting wet. Good job it wasn’t a Weds night or I might have been in with a chance of winning ‘worst crash’!

Good to see Tav back racing at the wk end.

Have a good one.

Andy

You may recall Andy’s email several weeks back about weekend rides, well I think it’s time to kick off with a Mendips outing this Sunday. I appreciate it’s not 6 weeks notice but that’s life. So plan is for an early start as there is a tiny bit of ‘cheeky trail’ to start with.

So my plan would be to be up there and ready to go for 8.00am.

Kevin
