[VC Walcot] Wessex 100

Hello all,

Following on from conversations I've had on the few club runs I've actually managed to make this summer, I thought I'd send this link around for the Wessex 100 ride that starts and finishes at Ralph Allen school in Bath next month (September 13). Quite a few people have been expressing an interest so we could get a nice group together, and although the information on the website is a bit sketchy I can confirm that I rode it last year (start and finish was in Salisbury then) and it was a good, very well marshalled route. Not a killer, but then Brassknocker was at 50 miles last year, not 100!

I've decided it's just what I need to refocus my mind after what has been a very lazy month or so post-Ventoux. I haven't signed up yet but will soon, so if anyone wants to join me...

Cheers, Paul

P.S. On the subject of my recent laziness, can someone who was out with a Garmin on Sunday at least confirm that it was indeed a 'hilly' 60 we did? Please?

P.P.S. For those who were interested, the Tour of Britain stage start in Frome is on September 17. Wiggins is in, no Millar or Cav though.
