Sorry, I won't be able to make it out for your farewell do - Holly is now 11 days overdue and is about to drop at any moment! even if she gives birth tonight I can't see me out on the beers next week! Have a good one and all the best in Melbs

Andy - great to see you back on the e-waves and on the mend, injuries sound pretty horrific so best of luck with the recovery, will your wife ever let you out on your bike again?! How did it all happen? I presume a car was involved?

Thanks to everyone that has replied so far, it should be a good night out. 
Andy, it's brilliant that you're even considering coming along - I really hope you can make it and of course Karina can come too. 
I was thinking, since there are so many themed events in Bath, that we might all like to wear our favourite cycling jerseys? We'd certainly look less stupid than the multiple groups of 'Where's Wallys' I saw out last weekend. 
Thoughts / Comments?
I'll advise the venue once it's booked. 
Those that are out riding tonight - I'll see you there.

Update from me:
 
Back to hospital yesterday for Maxillofacial (oral / face) review. Fractures all healing well, had last stitches removed (from inside mouth). Knew that they had plated my jaw, turns out it was two plates. Jaw still slightly displaced meaning I won't get the same alignment / bite back again but I should be able to eat / drink ok after everything settles down.
 
Teeth also hopefully ok, broke a tooth socket but fracture healing and tooth ok.
 
They were pleased with other fractures too - cheek bones, eye socket etc. - all healing and they were pleased they got them aligned and symetrical (difficult apparently)! 
 
Did get told off for trying to chew food (pitta bread!) was told strictly 'soft' food for 8 weeks!!!
 
Physio again today (Tues) then back Thurs for review of wrist fracture.
 
Back still causing me pain / lack of sleep. Am able to walk but need to sit down for a rest every 50 feet!
 
Looking forward to seeing everyone on the 27th hopefully :-)

Hi Everyone,

As many of you will know I will shortly be leaving Bath, returning to Melbourne. 

However, before I leave I would like to spend an evening with all the riding buddies I've made during the year. 

Details

Venue: tbc
 (dependent on numbers but will be in Bath city centre)

Time: 7:00pm (dinner) with drinks around town later. 

Please let me know if you're interested in coming along either via the email or on Facebook so I can get an idea of numbers and book the restaurant.
